Father’s Day Recipes Kids Can Make. 5 Easy Healthy Recipes To Grill Fry or Bake
Father’s Day Recipes Kids Can Make. Dad deserves a meal fit for a king. Isn’t it? In our household, the man of the house is dad to two little children with limited culinary skills, so, please expect simple meal ideas here. And Dads are usually easy to cook for.
Teaching kids to cook is an absolute must. Life skills are learned and memories are made.
Last night, I was super tired. Homework assignments for the first grader, helping the 7th grader prepare for impromptu class assignments. Trying to maintain a professional work environment for the work-from-home daddy and maintaining a school like decorum for online classes of kids all day.
Ya’all Iam tired!
I vaccum the house and fluff up cushions in the evenings so it’s nice and clean the next morning. As I grabbed my vaccum cleaner, I told my 12 year old to grill some pre-marinated chicken from the freezer and my 6 year old offered to assemble mayo sandwiches. As I cleaned and brushed, I quickly mashed and whisked some boiled potatoes with milk and other ingredients for some homemade potato soup. In very little time dinner was finished with very little effort on my part.
The Importance Of Teaching Kids To Help In The Kitchen

No, it’s not just because mom or dad may be busy, and your kids can step-up and help. But, it’s seeing your kids grow up. It’s seeing them stretch their wings and fly on their own. It’s seeing their faces light up as they realize they just accomplished an “adult chore.” If you have never cooked alongside your kids, I encourage you to start — now! It is also a great way to get picky eaters an interest in food
