Diet exercise, sleep and other long-term healthy habits are the foundations of looking good. But sometimes all one needs is a super-quick fix to look better straight away. Try this timesaving trick.
Dull, dry skin magnifies fine lines, so spritz whenever skin feels tight. In a spray bottle, combine;
1 cup witch hazel,
1/4 cup rosewater and
3 drops chamomile essential oil
I love to store this in my vanity bag for a fragrant quick-fix on the go. This blend will keep indefiitely.

Steam your face
Boil 4 cups of water, then pour into a heat resistant bowl and 3-4 drops of any calming essential oils such as rose or ylang-ylang. Create a steam tent with a towel and let the steam envelop your face for 10 minutes. After you are done, set yourself up for a restful slumber. Check out this post on how you can use essential oils to get a peaceful night’s sleep.
Beat bad hair
After shampooing, quickly rinse with a 50-50 mixture of warm water and apple cider vinegar. It reduces frizz and also removes dirt, mineral deposits and soapy residue.

Press your thumb into your solar plexus point, located just below the ball of your foot. Hold and repeat on your other foot. Because if you are relaxed you, look better and stimulating the pressure points on your feet reduces stress.
Banish the Bloat
Retaining water can make you look and feel heavier. Diuretic herbs such as Horsetail and Dandelion can help. But wait, tea is a diuretic but to reap some health benefits out of it, make sure it is sugar-free. Try this warm floral tea to relieve stress. Or some more herbal healing teas here.
Self Pamper at home : Wrapping up with a timely tip
Add cucumber slices to a jug of water and put it on your desk. This spa-inspired beauty trick makes you drinking water even more palatable and beneficial, as studies have found that cucumber’s fresh scent and taste reduce anxiety, and drinking at least 250-ml glasses of water a day will help to keep your skin hydrated and smooth. This is hardly any work, and I cannot stress enough how much this helps in imbibing a freshness to the face and skin.

I love this article! Any tips for self-care always land well with me because I’m a parenting coach and mothers NEED self-care. they’re always giving to others and neglecting themselves.
Ah! Thankyou so much Camilla!! Couldn’t appreciate a seal of approval more, from a parenting coach herself.
