Warm Floral Tea For A Cosy Winter

While not all flowers are edible, the edible ones have a pleasing, wonderful flavor when consumed. Roses, Hibiscus, Marigold, Chrysanthemums, Pea flowers are all edible and are steeped to make natural beverages.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Tsp Dried rose petals
  • 1/2 Tsp Dried hibiscus petals lends a beautiful red color if used and has a tang-sweet flavor
  • 6-7 Mint leaves
  • 1 Green tea bag
  • 1/4 Tsp Fennel seeds
  • 1" Ginger root
  • 1/2 Tsp Honey to taste

Instructions
 

  • Boil water. Throw in all the ingredients and simmer on a low flame for 10 mins. Turn off the flame. Keep the teapot covered and rest it another 10 mins. Strain and enjoy.
